FLU VACCINATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE -  At the Center we have used intradermal (injected into the skin) flu vaccinations for years.  This method is also being used in Europe.  This year the FDA has approved  an intradermal flu vaccine for the USA, manufactured by Sanofi Aventis, for ages 18-64.  The injections into the skin produce an equal or better immune response than intramuscular flu vaccinations, using 80% less vaccine and a much smaller, less painful needle.  The cost is $20.  Call 331-5138 to schedule.
